A special itinerary through the centre of Padua, entirely surrounded by Renaissance city walls and by remains of the medieval walls, and a visit to the most modern districts, will make you discover the famous attractions of the city, such as the St. Antony Basilica, the Scrovegni Chapel, the Botanical Garden, the Prato della Valle and also many unique special places, often unknown and not included in the traditional tours.
So you will have the opportunity of living the city as a local and not as a tourist, sitting in coffee bars where time seems to have stopped, walking under arcades and through narrow roads of the Middle Ages that remained almost unchanged over the centuries, admiring shining examples of the Renaissance architecture present everywhere in town and also strolling on the Listòn, the true city centre with the very famous Caffè Pedrocchi.
Some places are seat of exhibitions and museums and have environments/possessions/collections/finds that can be visited against payment and/or upon reservation during opening times to the public. The access and visit of these places is never included in the proposed itineraries. If interested, we can arrange the visit that however will be regarded as an independent service upon request.
Meals are not included: we recommend some typical quality places along the route that can be changed or excluded from the itinerary by previous agreement.
It is possible to combine, either before or after, any other itinerary among those proposed.
