The itineray starts from Padua to the south towards Monselice for a short tour of the city with its seven little churches and the Castle.
The next stops are at Este, for a short tour of the city and a visit to the castle with the inside gardens that are now the seat of the Atesino National Museum, and at Montagnana to admire the wonderful city walls, the gates and the bastions that are still well-preserved. The itinerary continues to the north to admire the western side of the Euganean Hills and make an outside visit of the San Martino della Vaneza Castle, that was the scene of an epic battle in the XIV century. Before getting back to Padua, the itinerary continues towards the northern slopes of the Hills for a visit to the Praglia Abbey, ancient Benedectine monastery.
